HOMEWORK STRATEGIES

"I always thought pie are round, but now I know that PI R sqaured"

How do I succeed in the LEGEND HS Mathematics PRogram?

There is a new high school going up in town and it is turning heads every day (specially for the people living in the award winning neighborhood of Idle Wild just east of Parker). Not too long ago Idle Wild itself was turning heads and was awarded best neighborhood 2006 and host to the parade of homes for that same year. But, now Douglas County Schools is raising its 9th high school in Idle Wild and breaking records it grows. The last few high schools have been using a similar floor plan that included a future expansion wing affectionately known as the F-Pod but, high school #9 is pulling out all the stops and is build the entire plan from the start, wow, you should see it! Oh, did I call it HS #9? Well, that won’t due, I mean with all the hustle and bustle going on it is fast becoming a DCSD Legend. But wait, That is exactly what it has been named;

LEGEND HIGH SCHOOL.

As you stand on the front walk way and look up at the front entrance it looks more like a college campus than a secondary high school. Although the building is certainly a big one it going to start of small. As is DCSD custom when a new high school opens up it starts with lower grades and adds a new class each year. Actually HS #9 will start out housing the middle school that will be built on the same site after HS#9 is done. This year 7,8 and 9th grade classes will be held, then next year adding on 10th grade then the year after they will loose 7 and 8 while it gains 11th and 12th. (see the whole story here.)
